Warranty

• Many wooden wine racks carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original owner lives in the residence.

• Commercial wood racks are covered by a 5-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

• Hardware components like hinges and caster parts have a 1-year warranty.

• VintageView racking systems included on the site come with a separate lifetime product warranty covering defects under normal use.

• To qualify, you must notify Wine Racks of any defects within 10 days of receiving the product.

• Wine Racks reserves the right to inspect items and may require photos or return of the product for evaluation.

• The warranty covers the cost of repair or replacement of defective items but does not cover products modified after leaving the factory (including post-shipment staining/finishing) and does not include consequential damages or misuse.

Return & Refund Policy

Small Capacity Wine Racks & Accessories

• You may return small wine racks and accessories within 30 days of the shipment date.

• Items must be unaltered, unused, and in the original packaging.

• Returns require authorization before being accepted — you must contact the company for a Return Authorization (RMA) and the correct return address.

• Upon receipt of your authorized return, Wine Racks will refund the cost of the item within 90 days.

• Some items may be subject to a restocking fee; you’ll be informed of any restock fee when your RMA is issued.

• Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

• The purchaser is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error by Wine Racks or a product that arrived damaged. In such cases, Wine Racks can issue a call tag and deduct its cost from your refund.

Wire Retail Store Fixtures

• Wire retail store fixtures can be returned within 30 days if unused and in original packaging.

• These returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

• Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

• The purchaser is responsible for return shipping, unless the item was shipped in error or arrived damaged.

• You should inspect packages before signing for them; if packaging is damaged, note it on the delivery receipt or refuse the package to preserve your rights.

Custom Wine Cellar Racking & Doors

• Custom wine cellars, stained items, and custom doors are not returnable for any reason due to their made-to-order nature.

• Orders go into production once the deposit and signed purchase agreement are received.

• If you cancel before shipment:

  • Refund is provided less a design fee and less the cost of materials already manufactured/cut.

  • If material costs exceed the deposit, the purchaser must pay the difference.

  • The purchaser may choose to have the already-produced materials shipped at their expense or discarded at no charge.

General Information

• Always contact Wine Racks for return authorization before sending any product back.

• Refunds are typically processed back to the original payment method within the specified time frame after inspection of the return.

• Inspect all items upon delivery and report damage promptly — damaged or defective item procedures may vary from standard returns.

Shipping Policy

    • In-stock items generally ship within 2 business days of receiving your order.

    • Wooden cellar racking kits, wooden commercial fixtures, and cooling units are built to order and typically have a 2–4 week production lead time.

    • Racks with custom stain or finish may take additional time.

    • Custom wine cellars may take 2–8 weeks depending on design complexity.

    • The company will notify you of your specific lead time once your order is received.

  • Shipping Days:

    • Orders are shipped Monday through Friday.

    • Express, 2-Day, and Overnight orders are shipped Monday through Friday before 10 am, which may add 1–2 days to the processing time.

  • Delivery Method:

    • Standard ground transportation is used for most products shipped within the continental U.S.

    • Commercial and larger racks may be shipped via freight carrier. These deliveries typically require a scheduled appointment.

    • You will be called prior to delivery to arrange a convenient delivery window.

    • If a delivery address must be rerouted, additional shipping charges may apply.

  • Free Shipping Threshold:

    • Certain items in the catalog are listed as “Free Shipping” or “Shipping Included” when shipped within the continental United States using standard ground service.

    • Free Shipping does not apply to orders under $1,000 total.

    • Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico orders will incur additional shipping charges, even if the item is listed as free shipping.

  • Freight & Large Items:

    • Commercial racking and most cooling units must ship via freight carriers.

    • Shipping costs for these items are not calculated at checkout, and you will be contacted after ordering to confirm and pay the shipping charges before the order is shipped.

  • Outside the Continental U.S.:

    • Shipping to APO/FPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international locations may require additional charges beyond what was collected at checkout.

    • You will be contacted with a quote for additional shipping costs prior to shipment.

    • Full payment of any additional charges must be received before the order is shipped.

  • Inspection & Damage Reporting:

    • You should open and inspect your purchases immediately upon receipt.

    • Wine Racks and their suppliers are not responsible for damaged or missing products reported more than 30 days after the ship date.
